Architectural Project Manager

Responsibilities:
Handle from 3 to 6 projects in different design phases simultaneously
Maintain our high standards for creative design
Create and meet project schedules and budgets
Direct, assemble and make presentations
Work directly with clients to meet project objectives
Coordinate and direct junior office staff and consultant team
Coordinate with interior design team
Assist with design and construction document production
Produce and coordinate specifications-coordinate with vendors and fabricators
Meet applicable codes and zoning requirements
Present to State, County, Town, City and Village agencies
Direct field visits during construction administration phase
Coordinate and direct contractors and sub-contractors
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members

Requirements:
3 to 6 years full-time experience
Professional degree
Proven design skills (portfolio required)
Production track record (examples required)
Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Positive mature attitude
Autocad 2006, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Outlook and Photoshop 7
Freehand drawing/sketching ability
