We are seeking to hire for the following position:

Architect Intern

Our creative environment is ideal for ambitious and talented career-oriented professionals who seek to work on a wide range of design projects with a high degree of autonomy and design input.

Responsibilities:

Assist on from 1 to 3 projects in different design phases simultaneously
Assist in maintaining our high standards for creative design
Assist in meeting project schedules and budgets
Assist in assembling presentations
Assist in coordinating with interior design team
Assist with design and construction document production
Assist in producing and coordinating specifications
Assist in coordinating with vendors and fabricators

Requirements:

Any relevant work experience preferred (full-time, part-time, summer, etc…)
Proven design skills (portfolio required)
Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Positive mature attitude
Autocad 2006, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Outlook and Photoshop 7
Freehand drawing/sketching ability a plus

Compensation:

Hourly compensation based on experience
